Paul is an accomplished pianist and instructor with a deep love for music. His journey started at just seven years old, and his dedication led him to study at Leeds College of Music, mastering Classical, Jazz, and Light Music.

A Rich & Diverse Musical Career – From London to the World

Paul’s journey as a professional pianist took off when he became the resident keyboard player at London’s iconic Stork Club. This prestigious role paved the way for incredible opportunities, including a U.S. tour with Simon Townshend (brother of Pete Townshend from The Who). During the tour, Paul shared the stage with Duran Duran and The Pretenders, culminating in the recording of Moving Target at the world-famous Hit Factory Studios in New York.

Returning to the UK, Paul’s career flourished across a variety of live music scenes. He toured with The Hot Ice Show in Blackpool, performed during summer seasons at Butlin’s, and played across northern social clubs, building a reputation for his dynamic and engaging performances. He later became a core member of The Casablanca Boys, a sought-after function band, playing at weddings, corporate events, and private parties, further cementing his versatility as a performer.

Paul also had the unique opportunity to showcase his talents aboard luxury cruise ships, working as the musical director and pianist for prominent cruise lines including P&O, Fred Olsen, and Saga Cruises. During these engagements, Paul not only curated performances for international audiences but also directed music for high-profile events at sea, enriching his skill set and deepening his connection with diverse global audiences.

Over the years, Paul has worked alongside some of the biggest names in UK entertainment, including Les Dennis, Jim Bowen, Lionel Bart, Duncan Norvelle, and Joe Longthorne. His collaboration with Simon Townshend also gave him the opportunity to work with Mick Ronson, legendary guitarist for David Bowie, further enriching his experience in the industry.
